Dear Lilburn Elementary Family,

Welcome Back! 

It’s amazing how time flies!   Another school year has flown by and a new one is upon us.   So much has been accomplished at Lilburn Elementary as we continue to do our BEST while operating within the framework of our four guiding principles; that is,
(1) building character in all students,
(2) engaging parents and community in the educational process,
(3) striving to maintain a safe and secure learning environment, and
(4) teaching ALL students to learn at high levels.  I believe as long as we hold to these four guiding principles, we will not lose sight of  that which is so very important to the overall well-being and development of our children.

We are very excited about the progress our students made during the past year.  They continue to make great gains as reflected on the state’s assessment - the CRCT.  These accomplishments are due to the tireless efforts of our talented staff, and the hard work of our wonderful boys and girls.  Truly, they are the BEST!

The support we have received this year from parents and community has also been extraordinary.  The math and literacy family nights, the international festival, the involvement of our School Improvement Council and PTA, and the support of an increasing number of volunteers have all played a role in sustaining our culture of excellence at Lilburn Elementary School.  I look forward to continuing the invaluable relationships we’ve formed.

With your continued support, my staff and I will do our part to focus our efforts to improve each child’s overall academic, social, and personal development.
