The Petronas Towers are a great source of pride for the people of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Once the tallest building in the world, it is now the third tallest tower. Like stars spiraling to the sky, glass, steel and concrete come together to create this skyscraper. The two towers are connected by a sky bridge which suspends people eighty-eight stories above the earth. The glass allows the people to look down on the scene below. This structure was built by Cesar Pelli and was completed in 1998. The cool thing about the Petronas Towers is that when you look up from the ground you see big stars and as you keep looking up there are smaller stars spiraling upward. Forms seen in nature are mimicked in steel and concrete.
