The Chrysler Building is a great example of the Art Deco Style. Art Deco is a geometric style popular in Europe and The United States from 1925-1940. It is famous for sharp angles and crisp clean lines.The Art Deco Style is made with thin, long forms with geometric patterning and curved surfaces.This structure has isosceles triangular windows on the crown.The eagles are right angles to the building. The central part of the Chrysler Building is shaped like a rectangular prism. It has arcs on the Chrysler Building's crown. This structure has acute angles on the tip of the triangles. This building also has perpendicular lines and line segments everywhere on the building. This structure has arches on the crown.The Chrysler building is a symmetrical building. This structure has zigzags on the right side. The Chrysler Building is very famous today because of the Art Deco Style. Art Deco is based on earlier neo-classical but with the application of exotic motifs such as flora and fauna, fountains and chevrons, typically arranged in geometric patterns.
