Wandy Taylor assigned as Principal
Dear Students and Parents:
During the regular meeting of the Gwinnett County Public Schools Board of Education on May 8, 2008, The School Board approved my appointment to serve as the next principal of Lilburn Elementary School, effective July 1, 2008. Words can hardly express the excitement I feel at this time. Having served as an assistant principal for six years under the leadership of my mentor, Mrs. Jackie Beasley, I look forward to the opportunity to continue the rich tradition that has been established for Lilburn Elementary School.
As Mrs. Beasley steps into her new position in the county office, please know that she has played a key role in preparing me for the duties and responsibilities that await me. I am appreciative of the support she has given me, and I fully intend to build on the foundation she has built for our school.
Again, I am excited about the upcoming school year and will have an official, “welcome back to school” letter prepared by early August.
