To see how your students are progressing each week, be sure to run a report each week. Run Instructional Usage report to show how much time they have been in each subject this week, last week, and average over the last 4 weeks. This report only shows TIME. To see how well your students are doing in their activities, run the Response to Instruction report. This report will show the overall time, but also show lessons completed, lessons in progress, pass rate, and pass rate by domain.
If you have students that don't have scores due to the issues last week, please be sure to let Keri know via a ticket. We will either try to fix it ourselves or pass it on to the county. All tests should be completed by Friday, 10/21/16.
When following the directions for connecting your personal device to the GCPS-Mobile network, be sure you are using your employee # with e and your COMPUTER password, not the portal password. The directions say AD credentials which refer to the Active Directory that is used for all devices on the network.
I know we sound like a broken record, but when your laptops are having problems connecting to the internet or network, please make sure you have had them connected to a network cable. Remember that updates are sent out on a regular basis from the county and ALL computers need to connect to a network cable ONCE A WEEK. Maybe use the Tech Tidbits as your reminder:-)
When you create a document on Google, you can share it with your entire grade level in a couple of ways. 1) You can get the share link and send it in an email, 2) You can insert the share link in your grade level eClass Page, 3) You can add your grade level group to the share area of the Google document. The following groups have been created so far for your use: firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org.
Ever have trouble keeping up with testing dates, IFMs, PLCs etc? Well I have tried to put all the calendars in one embedded calendar. You can find them on the bottom of the eClass training page as well as the Staff Resources page on the website.
Ever have a time when a student has a browser window open and there is no X to close the window, no address bar etc. Just press the F11 key to restore it to a regular screen. If you want a window full screen with no controls just press the F11 key. It is like a toggle on and off.
