Shout out to Melissa Elkins that took the plunge to do a non holiday/theme related breakout with her class. She and her kids loved it so much it is spreading like wildfire through the rest of 1st grade! Remember, Breakouts can be content based and great for review of many concepts. If you or your grade level would like to look for content related activities, or work with me to create one, just let me know.
A side note, the first time you do a Breakout with your class, it is best to have 1 - 1/2 hours so they can get a good strong introduction and you can give them a little extra time if they are just about to break out. Here is the link to the website to know which activities are already available.
We also have more kits available. Math purchased 2 kits and I have about 3 kits now so it makes the running in the classroom a bit smoother.
