The diagnostic will remain open until 2/12/17. Any students you receive between now and then, please have them complete the diagnostic. As stated in PLCs last week, although we have many students performing below grade level, the growth between beginning of the year and mid year is great! We are on track to show more than a year's growth in both subjects.
Remember that your data sheets need to be uploaded into the appropriate data folder in Google Drive. We are doing this in grade level plannings. If you need assistance please see Keri. For the end of the year you will simply edit the online sheet:-)
eClass expectations were sent out by Mrs. Merisme last week. If you are missing widgets like "I Can" or Homework, etc, please either add them yourself or email Keri, Wendy or Deb so we can add them for you and you can keep them updated. Please let us know if you need any assistance to meet those expectations.
When moving items to prepare for the carpet installation, please put your printer and any desktop computers on the counter in your tile area. Put your boxes in front of them. Your laptops may go in your file cabinets. If you need assistance connecting them once carpet has been installed, please submit a ticket. Please put your SMARTboard items in your file cabinet as well.
You will notice two new buttons on the intranet page. One is where you can sign up for lessons with Keri - like for Breakouts in your classroom. The other (Keri's calendar) is so you can see the full calendar with other school events etc.
Labs B, C & D will remain closed through next week. If the ESOL teachers end early we will of course let you know. The laptop cart schedule is not yet available after 2/3 because they will be using laptops for their small group speaking tests. When we know more about their schedule we will open it up. Thank you for your patience as over half of our students take the ACCESS test in 4 areas! That's A LOT of testing!!!
Looking for just part of a video to use or looking to use a YouTube video with kids that isn't blocked? Vibby may be your answer. You can get just a highlight of a video like Tubechop, but it isn't blocked for kids:-) For the end result you can get a link or embed code. This is a great way to get just what you need for your eClass page too! Here is an example you can see.
