It is hard to believe that the end of the 9 weeks is upon us. We will be sending out progress reports on March 17. Please pay careful attention to the information below from Mrs. Merisme.
- Specials teachers should have all grades in by Thursday, 3/9/17.
- Teachers will print the Summary Progress Reports w/ Category Details by Wednesday, March 15 and turn in a copy to Ms. Varela for files.
- Progress reports will go home on Friday, March 17.
Beginning the third nine weeks, specials teachers should have grades in per rotation (every two weeks). Waiting until the last minute is more stressful and doesn't account for our transiency issues.

Just a reminder that all classes and assignments now appear in the Parent Portal, that includes specials as well as K & 1. Keep this in mind as you are entering grades or have parents ask you about student grades.
A tier 1 Kid Talk Form is now linked off the Student Support Page in eClass. The link is actually a link to a template in Google. When you click on the link you will then need to go to File > Make a copy. At that point you can begin creating your own document.
Next Tuesday, March 7 @ 7:30 am Wendy and I will be available to support you in updating your course pages or any other C&I help you need. 3rd - 5th grade teachers that want assistance will go to Ms. Leaycraft's room and Wendy will be there. K - 2nd grade teachers that want assistance will go to Mrs. Hartley's room and I (Keri) will be there to assist.
Although in some sense, this is counter to what Google is all about, there are times when you need the actual file in Microsoft Word or PDF format for others (like sending the created assessments to the assessment office. Follow these simple directions to download a copy of a Google File (doc, sheet, slide, etc.)
If you would like to change the default follow these simple directions so your Lotus Notes e-mails can have the font, and color you choose without having to change it every time.
