Well, I know there were frustrations with the intranet being down until 10:30, but I hope you were able to get a good idea of what teaching could be like if students brought their own devices. Only 13 teachers have completed the survey so please be sure to fill it out and give your feedback as well as let us know how many devices were brought. The first time is always the most difficult with it being new. Remember if we did this on a more regular basis the students wouldn't have to go through the process of connecting to the network each time because it would be saved.
Our break is over. SPGs start tomorrow! Russ sent out the schedule, but it is also online with the most recent edits (please let me know if you see problems or changes needed). It is also integrated to the regular lab schedule soon. Regular lab times will be cancelled during these days but be sure to look for open slots.

As the year draws near, those that will be leaving the Lilburn family need to keep a few things in mind, even if you are going to another GCPS school.
1. Your Lotus Notes do not go with you. You will keep the same e-mail address, but the inbox is completely deleted. you can follow thesedirections for archiving your Lotus Notes you want to keep.
2. Your H drive will NOT be deleted but it is best to back it up in case of issues through the transfer process. We recommend an external hard drive or large thumb drive depending on the size of your H drive.
3. Your Google account will be disabled after 1 year, but you will lose access to Lilburn shared items sometime between end of school and start of the new year.
4. All laptops must be turned in by May 25. If you are moving to another GCPS school, you will be issued a new laptop from them. You will need to coordinate with the new school when you can get the laptop.
