Be sure to use Internet Explorer for DAs to reduce issues, especially younger grades that have sound.
Below are various helpful links that can be found in the C&I tool in the Teacher Accountability & Assessment course page.

Since DA scores are now tied to a possible pay increase, we need to make sure all students are taking the DAs. You will now be required to complete an attendance roster and send the link to the document to your grade level administrator as well as Russ LaPlume. I have created a short video to help you locate the roster and how to complete it, save it to the correct location, and send the link. 4th grade teachers need to also create a separate attendance roster for SPGs. Please complete the rosters and e-mail the link by Thursday, August 31.
Have you explored more of the Team drive in Google? Last week I sent that the specials schedule as well as the lunch schedule have been placed in the Schoolwide General Info folder. You will now find the Pacing Guides for each grade level for 1st quarter in the same folder. There is a sub-folder for pacing guides.
What is the difference between My Drive, Team Drive, and Shared with me?
My Drive is where all of your personally created or uploaded files live. You choose who gets access to them. If you leave the school, those documents leave with you.
Team Drive is "owned" by the school domain. Each folder has its own permissions of who can access it and at what level. If someone leaves the school, the items stay in Team Drive. If you have edit rights to a folder you can upload files to that folder that will automatically be shared with everyone that has access to that folder.
Shared with Me is where you will find any documents that someone has shared with you from their own "My Drive".
We, the coaches, tech team, and administrative team, are working on moving many items currently on the Shared drive or other important documents to Team Drives so check back regularly. If you have particular requests for folders or items, please let Keri know.
You hear the tech team talking about backing up your items from your laptop all of the time. Well, a good solution may be Google Drive app. Download and install the app on your laptop. Use your school account (--@lilburnes.org) to use with the app. Now, all of the folders you have in your google drive will be duplicated in a folder on your laptop. You can save items at any time to that Google Drive folder and its sub-folders, even when you don't have internet access. The next time you connect to the internet all of the files will automatically be backed up to your cloud based Google Drive account. Anywhere you can log into Google you will have access to all of those files, whether you are on your laptop or not:-)
Please click this link to choose 1 time slot that will be your assigned lab time during the week. Special Ed teachers must sign up for Mini Lab, not one of the "full" labs. Please pay close attention to the number of computers in each lab.
Assigned lab times will begin AFTER DAs.
I believe we will be working on setting up gradebook weights etc during your planning time. Until then, of course you can enter grades and the weights will automatically calculate once we make the updates.
This information on codes available may be useful.
Are you having trouble remembering all the steps for setting up your classroom camera? Did you miss the summer training? Just want a little extra assistance in the process? The following days will be available for you to come to Lab C for assistance.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, August 16 @ 7:45 am
Monday, August 21 @ 7:45 am.
Remember if you are leaving your room you need to turn off your projector. The bulbs cost hundreds of dollars! The rule of thumb is if you aren't using your projector for 10 minutes, turn it off. It is amazing how many rooms I pass with no one in the room, lights will be out but the projector will still be on.
Today in the faculty meeting we went through the orientation video together. You need to make sure you sign off that you have completed the orientation. If you need assistance on where to find the sign off, this short video may help.
