There are lots of passwords to keep up with. Many times we get requests from people about how they can remember all of their passwords. Here is a tip.
1) Develop a strong password. This should be a password that includes letters - capital and lowercase, numbers, symbols and be at least 8 characters long.
2) Add 2 letters to the end of the password for each application like GS for Google Suite, LN for Lotus Notes, EP for Employee Portal, etc.
3) Then you will only have 1 basic password to remember and you just put the additional letters for the appropriate application. When a password expires, change the base password and then go through to change your other passwords at that same time.
These rosters are due Thursday, August 31
Here are the directions on creating the attendance roster from the template I sent out last week.
Since DA scores are now tied to a possible pay increase, we need to make sure all students are taking the DAs. You will now be required to complete an attendance roster and send the link to the document to your grade level administrator as well as Russ LaPlume. I have created a short video to help you locate the roster and how to complete it, save it to the correct location, and send the link. 4th grade teachers need to also create a separate attendance roster for SPGs. Please complete the rosters and e-mail the link by Thursday, August 31. (The video is located Google > Team Drive > Tech Help > Google > DA Attendance Roster.mp4)
Just like the attendance rosters, everyone needs to create a data sheet. This year we are starting the year with the data sheet on Google. Please watch this short video for how to create sheet from the template. (The video is located Google > Team Drive > Tech Help > Google > Using Datasheets for 2017-2018.mp4)
Starting on Monday, we will begin our assigned lab times and regular lab sign-ups. The schedules are linked on the intranet page. Remember you will need to log in via your Google Account here at Lilburn in order to write your name on the schedule. Only the weeks available for sign-up will be shown.
Please continue to have your students finish their Benchmarks in both Math and Reading in ClassWorks. Each day we (Deb and/or I) will generate the ILPs. As soon as your students have ILPs they can begin using the instruction area of ClassWorks. If the ILP is not there and you want to add it on your own, please feel free (Chris showed how to do it in PLC last week.)
If you have new students that have enrolled, but they are not on your seating chart to take attendance, you must add them to your seating chart. Please follow the steps in the graphic below.
