The files from the shared drive will be deleted on Friday of this week, September 8. Please make sure you remove any files you want to keep. You can then upload them to your Google Drive.
Now that you need to use Google Drive more for your documents, it is a great time to install the Google Drive app on your laptop. This will allow you to save all of your documents on your laptop and sync them to your Google Drive for access anywhere. I have created directions for you to follow. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Some students will need individual conferences instead of just attending the APTT meetings. I have set up conferences for every teacher. The "base" set up is 7:30 - 8:15 and 1 - 4 with 15 minutes for each conference. The conferences are on the "opposite" day of your APTT meeting. You can customize the times via the link you should receive tonight. If you need assistance, please ask Deb. The conferences will launch on Friday afternoon. Deb will be sending you a letter you can send home for those needing a conference. If a parent that does NOT need a conference signs up, just contact them and tell them you will see them at APTT and delete them from your conference schedule. Also please notify Deb if your conference should NOT be launched.
Various versions of the school logo have been uploaded to the School Wide General Info > Graphics/Logos folder in Google Team Drive. Hopefully this will help you when trying to find one for your newsletter or other communication.
All 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students now how their Google Apps accounts created. If you are doing any writing projects, this is a great way for students to collaborate on research as well. If you would like assistance doing a research project or other lesson with your students outside of specials, please sign up for me or Deb. We will be glad to work with you and your students.
We have lots of wonderful databases supplied by the county and the school. Here is the most up to date password list. Remember it lives on the school training page too.
You may have seen someone with me today. Tamela Thomas will be interning on Wednesdays through November 29. She is getting her master's degree in Instructional Technology from Georgia Southern University. This would be a great day to ask for "help" or extra hands for a technology integration lesson in your room or in the labs.
